An easier way to connect Discord
Find Discord directly in the sidebar and follow three clear steps to connect your account. The linking page explains the bot’s commands and updates when linking succeeds, so you can move straight to checking your ratings and recent games.
Connect your account
- Open Discord from the Community section of the sidebar, including the mobile menu.
- Generate a private, short-lived code, open your club’s configured Discord server and paste your personal link command. Ask your club organiser for an invitation if you do not already have access.
- The page checks for completion while your code is active and shows when your account is linked. Bot instructions now point to the sidebar too.
Try the bot
- Use /rating for your latest stored ratings and /recent for your last five stored games per verified chess.com account. With no player name supplied, these replies are visible only to you.
- Use /help to see the available commands and /unlink to disconnect. The bot can respond even when Discord shows it as offline.
- Connecting Discord does not enable game announcements or change your existing sharing choices. Server availability and automated announcements depend on your club’s setup.
